Chippy day out

8th May 2013

About 50 Talbot House parent/carers set off to The Olympic chippy in Bolton on the 1st May 2013 for a lovely chippy lunch. Everyone met at Talbot House and travelled there by coach arriving just in time to stop those hunger pangs. Parent /carers and Talbot House support staff were shown to there tables by the waiters who then took food and drink orders. Everyone tucked into a feast of fish and chips with a few orders of pie and chips, lots of tea was drunk. When everyone had there fill the group had a couple of hours spare to take in some shopping or just stroll around Bolton, it was a lovely sunny day. Everyone met up again to board the coach and made it back to Talbot House in time for family commitments.

Ann (parent/carer): 'I really enjoy these days out, I really look forward to them.'
