Christmas Show 2012

13th December 2012

Once about Talbot House opened its door and heart to welcome the wonderful parent carers for the 2012 Christmas party. On arrival guests were greeted by Mama Santa (Sabrina Wright pictured) and a tray of festive drinks. The parent/carers adorned their Christmas hats and outfits to get in the Christmas spirit.

The party revellers were treated to songs by the sensational swing singer Andy Lee (pictured below) who entertained everyone with a medley of songs from Michael Buble to Gangnam style.

Andy interrupted the entertainment to tell everyone about the great spread that awaited them including potato hash and sandwiches with an array of cakes and Mulled wine to wash it down. Everyone tucked in whilst catching up with friends and fellow parent/carers.

After eating was done, the raffle commenced with many donated gifts to choose from. Then it was back to the matter in hand of singing, dancing and entertainment. It was all over by 2pm then a group of staff and carers went over the road for a well earned drink.

Thanks to Jo Moore for organising the event and a big thanks to Helen Bottomley and Sabrina Wright for assisting and organising the raffle. And finally a massive thank you to Andy Lee for keeping us all entertained.
