Local Events

We are again entering the Manchester United Foundation’s charity Santa Run that is taking place on Sunday 4th December at 12.30pm. On the day there’ll be a real festive atmosphere around the stadium with carol singing and a community market.

It’s another big opportunity to raise much needed funds and we are now looking to recruit a team of 50 willing volunteers. Team members will be provided with a Santa Suit so they really look the part as they walk, jog or run around the 5K course which ends with a final lap around the famous Old Trafford pitch!

The entry fee will be paid for by us and all we ask in return is that you aim to raise a minimum of £50.00 for Talbot House.

Last year’s event was a huge success and all our runners had a great time along the way! Thanks to their efforts we raised almost £2500.00 to help support our parent-carers.
