Thrive Project Quilt Competition

11th July 2016

A huge congratulations to Lorraine Taylor who won a fantastic handmade quilt in our competition.

The competition was to raise funds for our Thrive Project. The quilt itself was made as a symbol of the project, entitled "The Flower Garden".

The quilt and the project was promoted in various different places. First, the quilt was taken to Manchester Central Library, then The Grand Cafe in Deangate Waterstones and finally was on display for 2 weeks in the Manchester Craft and Design Centre in The Northern Quarter.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and supported the event. You have helped us to continue supporting older parent carers of people with learning disabilities across Manchester.
